This series of work ‘I think we were friends once, maybe’ is comprised of 9 colour etchings. These urban landscapes are more representative of how people relate to each other than buildings. The themes I’ve explored when making these works include anxiety, introversion, love and loss, and isolation. More broadly speaking, they look at the human desire to be close to one another and all the complications that go along with that.
They are currently available for purchase through Port Jackson Press, and being exhibited in their gallery in Collingwood from May 30th to June 21st.
